What Fluency EI is
Fluency EI is a benchmarking and progress-tracking layer for language schools. It analyses a student's written or spoken response and proposes a CEFR level with a rationale across five dimensions.
Indicative CEFR estimate produced by automated analysis. Not a certified level and not issued by an examination board. Subject to confirmation by a qualified teacher.
What Fluency EI is not
- It is not an examination board and issues no certificates or accredited qualifications.
- It does not replace a teacher's professional judgement. Fluency EI proposes; the teacher decides.
- It is not a conversational practice or tutoring app.
Using the demo responsibly
- You may only submit a recording or text where the speaker — or their parent or guardian, if the speaker is a minor — has agreed to it being analysed.
- Do not upload identifiable recordings of real students into the demo environment before a service agreement and data-processing agreement are in place.
- Recordings submitted to the demo are stored securely for 20 days and then deleted automatically.
- The demo applies fair-use limits per visitor and per day. When a limit is reached, further submissions are politely refused until the following day.
- Do not attempt to overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or submit unlawful or abusive content.
School accounts
School access, the number of students, data isolation, retention and support are governed by a separate written agreement. Until such an agreement is signed, any use is a demonstration and no service levels apply.
Intellectual property
The assessment rubric, scoring logic, prompt design, reports and platform are Fluency EI's intellectual property. A school's own roster data, responses and results remain the school's.
Availability and liability
The demo is provided as-is, without warranty, and may change or be unavailable at any time. To the extent permitted by law, Fluency EI is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of an indicative automated estimate that has not been confirmed by a qualified teacher.
